THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE BUTTERZ

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ORA0XoUa80&feature=related

The video i feel perfectly identifies the personalities of these 2 characters; sheltered dizzee and crazy titch when the pressure is on both show those qualities and would have nearly ended in an altercation where obviously the crazy one would have won.
A few years on, well 3 years on and charting their progress, it seems the dizzee one is currently topping music charts and a household name whilst somehow the craziness of crazy titch has landed him in jail for possibly the most controversial murder on the "grime" scene after a case of whodunnits and coverups, not to mention the re-emergence of a long lost relation just prior to this murder and his involvement who surprise surprise is another grime mc with the name DURTY GOODZ.
There are some similarities Crazy Titch shares with a current grime MC who i must admit i admire, for maintaining the aggressive grime tradition though some perhaps feel it is a little too aggressive but Tempa T, hopefully working alongside the more "friendlier" and marketable Boy Better Know grime group will be taught to curb this aggression into a much more interesting form of the genre http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GJL1Y2XVRc
Ahhh well, let's just hope Teeeeeeeempz gets lucky when his album is released :) fingers crossed!

A Country In Turmoil

What a past few weeks it has been; as if losing the speaker of the house was not enough, the premier has been made a laughing stock with several other high profile resignations, and himself and his labour cronies subjected to further humiliation, losing a Cambridgeshire seat to a hideous collective known as THE OFFICIAL MONSTER RAVING LOONY PARTY, whose leader Lord Toby is clearly over the moon with the result as he beat not just 1 labour candidate but 2, double ouch!!! http://tinyurl.com/ovqumn
Presently many are unsure who the leader of the labour party is as when one expects a strong leader to stand up and unify the team, they are left with a murmuring scot hiding in his office. Gone are the days when even Tony B, upon realising a threat to the party, along with his bulldog prezza or some of his henchmen gives a resounding unifying speech that bring tears to many eyes bar the few of us who knew the routine. Ahhh Labour, am i the only one who is unsure whether to feel sorry for them or have a chuckle at errrr their expense....Not looking good so far in the polls either so bad news on all fronts.
Well they can seek solace in the fact that the country has endured a lot of bad luck of late;

When I Say Britain You Say Talent

As this years Britain's Got Talent draws to a close, unlike previous years several odds have been slashed as to the final outcome with some bets already stopped on Susan Boyle claiming the crown. Clearly getting publicity on the simpsons and several other major entertainment channels have lured the public and bookmakers into a false sense of assurance that the cat lady from scotland will indeed scoop this coveted top prize.
Now i am not one to wish bad luck upon a fellow human but due to the scale of this "bigging up" of susan boyle, how fantastic would it be for her to be struck down by swine flu or some other form of energy sapping illness, this then leaves the competition as wide open as pete burns mouth so if anyone knows of how to get to her, all i suggest is a little sneeze or a dose of the flu virus to make this a fair and open talent contest where we the public are not dealt with a "blue peter" competition result! To be honest Stavros is my boy, vote him :)!!!

TAKING CANDY FROM A BABY

It has been several months since i posted anything on here due to my other exploits on http://www.3rdearlnews.blogspot.com/ which i must recommend highly so do kindly have a read.

What has prompted me to get back on here you may enquire; well, the V&A sent me one of their superb press packs, this recent one on the october exhibition on Maharajahs and one which you must endeavour to see.
The real reason is the story of one of the Maharajah's; the Maharajah Duleep Singh who was a friend of the court of Queen Victoria and rather prominent in the country during his exile.

Am i the only person fascinated by the fact that the British "crew" in India decided to somehow put together a rather interesting "treaty of lahore" which gifted them the "koh i noor" diamond, which according to myth offers the owner the position as the ruler of the world, unfortunately after several years they still are not the rulers of the world, thanks to perhaps George III for fucking up the America takeover :)

Anyway, they deemed it important to get the heir to Ranjit Singh, 13 year old Duleep Singh, seen here on the on the left posing for royal court painter Winterhalter, to travel to Britain with the diamond and to offer it to Queen Victoria. Some may have immediately assumed well this will make it ok as the diamond was being handed over by a heir, but others may perhaps think otherwise; a 13 year old boy with no idea of the importance of what is at stake, being sent with perhaps an object that epitomises everything about his religion and background and somehow ending up being exiled in Britain and hugely protected from his original countrymen or any other form of contact deemed influential to his thoughts is maybe not such a good idea.
This is just one of the interesting reasons why you should check out the V&A exhibition to gain a further insight into the Maharajahs.
ps....He was forced to convert to Christianity as well and his requests to convert back refused.
